Emma Florence Thompson

Chomwan Weeraworawit is a cultural strategist, curator, and producer whose work moves between art, film, design, and hospitality. She received her PhD from King’s College London in intellectual property, research that continues to inform her approach to cultural production and traditional knowledge.

She founded Mysterious Ordinary in 2010 and later co-founded Film on the Rocks Yao Noi with Apichatpong Weerasethakul and Tilda Swinton, a festival that brought together communities through film, art, and landscape. With her husband Philip Huang, she co-founded the brand Philip Huang, working with artisans in Isan to explore how traditional knowledge can be protected and evolved through design, film, and art.

Alongside this, she advises global luxury brands such as Chanel on cultural strategy in Thailand. She has served on the curatorial team of the Bangkok Art Biennale (2022), co-founded Cinema For All at the Thailand Biennale (2023), and sits on the boards of Denniston Hill in New York and the 100 Tonson Foundation in Bangkok.

Emma Florence Thompson is a Creative Producer whose work spans hospitality, branding, and cultural experiences. She is the co-founder of Tropic City, an award-winning cocktail bar in Bangkok, and has held senior marketing and creative leadership roles at Montara Hospitality Group, ASAI Hotels, and Sri panwa.

Her career bridges strategy, production, and storytelling—shaping brand narratives, building communities, and delivering projects that connect cultural intelligence with commercial success. A skilled writer and editor, she began her career at 2Magazine and has since worked with international lifestyle and design brands, including Philip Huang, as a content and marketing adviser.

At PRC, Emma brings her experience in hospitality, writing, and creative direction to produce cultural programmes and activations with clarity, ambition, and impact.
